Overview

NoteLight is a visual piano listening experience operated by Mars. We aim to collect only the information needed to provide the app, confirm access, respond to feedback, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

This policy covers the NoteLight website and iOS app. Apple, RevenueCat, and infrastructure providers may process information under their own policies when they provide purchases, subscription management, hosting, security, or content delivery services.

Data we handle

Website visits

The website has no account, contact form, advertising, analytics script, or marketing cookie. Hosting and security infrastructure may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, time, and requested path to deliver and protect the site.

Guest sessions

The app creates an installation credential and guest identifier so the service can establish an authenticated guest session. NoteLight does not require a public profile or social account.

Purchases

Apple processes payment and billing details. NoteLight and RevenueCat receive purchase and subscription status needed to provide Member access. NoteLight does not receive your full payment card number.

Feedback

If you use in-app Feedback or contact support, we handle the message you send and an optional reply address. Do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed to answer your request.

On-device activity

Favorites, playback preferences, daily free-play time, home-entry count, and the soft-prompt state are currently maintained on the device. The shared NoteLight API does not implement this daily playback meter.

Diagnostics

NoteLight does not use advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Operational security records may be created when the app or website communicates with the service.

How we use data

  • Provide and secure guest access to NoteLight services.
  • Confirm purchases and keep Member access in sync.
  • Deliver music and related product content.
  • Respond to feedback when you provide a reply address.
  • Diagnose abuse, service failures, and security incidents when operational records are available.
  • Meet legal, accounting, and App Store obligations.

NoteLight does not use product data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, and does not sell personal information.

When data is shared

Information is shared only when needed to operate NoteLight, complete a transaction, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

  • Apple handles App Store distribution, purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
  • RevenueCat helps verify subscription status and Member entitlement.
  • Infrastructure providers may process limited network, API, storage, or delivery information on our behalf.
  • Authorities or other parties may receive information when disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.

We require service providers acting on our behalf to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable law.

Retention and your choices

Deletion receipts, in-app feedback, support correspondence, and operational service logs are normally retained for no longer than three months. We may retain limited records longer when required to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements.

NoteLight retains the installation-scoped guest record, its installation credential association, and the RevenueCat customer relationship so the app can restore the same guest identifier and eligible purchases after product data is deleted. These stable identity and purchase records are not covered by the three-month period above. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction information under their own policies and legal obligations.

Choices

  • You can contact support@591master.com to request access to or deletion of information associated with you.
  • You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription from your Apple account settings.
  • You can use Delete Account in NoteLight to remove NoteLight product data, revoke the current session, and clear NoteLight data stored locally. The current service retains the installation-scoped guest record and RevenueCat customer so eligible purchases can be restored.
  • Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately in your Apple account settings.
  • The app clears NoteLight data stored locally as part of the deletion flow. Deleting the app by itself does not submit an account deletion request.
  • We may retain a limited deletion receipt for up to three months so repeated requests can complete safely. The receipt does not contain the raw access token or installation credential.

Children

NoteLight is not designed as a service directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to NoteLight, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Security and transfers

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when NoteLight, its providers, or legal requirements change. The current publication date will appear at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way before they take effect when required.
